RS33546 / H0868 This appropriation to the Public Employee Retirement System provides onetime enhancements to the FY 2027 maintenance budget that include funding for a pension software upgrade, continuity-of-operations plan, and replacement items.

This appropriation provides an additional $2,599,400 to the maintenance appropriation provided to the Public Employee Retirement System found in the program maintenance appropriation to General Government agencies. Table 1 shows incremental adjustments to the budget found in the bill, the entirety of which are onetime. Table 2 shows the adjustments leading to the FY 2027 Total. LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO Sixty-eighth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2026 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE BILL NO. 868 BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE AN ACT1 RELATING TO THE APPROPRIATION TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM; AP-2 PROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM3 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC-4 TIVE DATE.5
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:6
SECTION 1. In addition to any other appropriation provided by law,7 there is hereby appropriated to the Public Employee Retirement System the8 following amounts to be expended according to the designated programs and9 expense classes from the listed funds for the period July 1, 2026, through10 June 30, 2027:11 FOR12 FOR OPERATING13 CAPITAL EXPENDITURES14 OUTLAY TOTAL I.
