RS33706 / H0906 This is the enhancements bill for the community colleges, including a reduction of $245,500 for the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and an addition of $1,123,200 to restore the 2% additional reduction.

This appropriation provides an additional $1,123,200 to the maintenance appropriation provided to Community Colleges. Table 1 shows incremental adjustments to the budget, of which the ongoing reduction is $245,500 and the onetime increase is $1,368,700. Table 2 shows the adjustments leading to the FY 2027 Total. The total budget for the Community Colleges is $68,169,300 and provides support to the College of Eastern Idaho, College of Southern Idaho, College of Western Idaho, and North Idaho College. Table 1. LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO Sixty-eighth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2026 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE BILL NO. 906 BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE AN ACT1 RELATING TO THE APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR COMMUNITY2 COLLEGES; APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCA-3 TION FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027; REDUCING THE APPRO-4 PRIATION TO THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGES FOR FIS-5 CAL YEAR 2027; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE6 DATE.7
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:8
SECTION 1. SECTION 2.
