▶ Show statement of purpose

This legislation repeals Chapter 60, Title 67 of Idaho Code relating to the Idaho Women's Commission.

▶ Show fiscal note

Repeal of Chapter 60, Title 67, Idaho Code eliminates the Idaho Women's Commission and its enabling statutory authority. There is no projected fiscal impact to the state general fund or to local units of government for the following reasons: the Commission currently operates without a dedicated general fund appropriation, staff, or state-funded budget line item. Any minimal administrative functions previously associated with the Commission have been absorbed or discontinued. No local government obligations, mandates, or revenue streams are created or eliminated by this repeal. Accordingly, no increase or decrease in existing or future appropriations or revenues is projected at the state or local level.
