STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation provides for the designation C1, C2 et seq. where a birth certificate is amended to correct material facts, except in certain cases. The certificate shall not be marked as 'amended’.
FISCAL NOTE

This legislation would result in a need to update one of the automated systems in vital statistics at a maximum cost of $3,800 which would come from funds already budgeted.
