This legislation provides for the designation C1, C2 et seq. where a birth certificate is amended for completing missingfactsorcorrectingfactswherethereisamaterialerror. Thecertificateshallnotbemarkedas‘amended’.
FISCAL NOTE

There are no increased costs anticipated as this is merely a change in the designation on a certificate that was amended. Therefore this legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government, nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government.
