RS33730 / H0909 This appropriation to the Office of the Secretary of the State provides enhancements to the FY 2027 budget that include a onetime appropriation of $350,000 for a voter pamphlet, as well as an ongoing transfer of $20,000 from operating expenditures to personnel costs to provide overtime expenses in lieu of compensatory time for the post-election audit team.

LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO Sixty-eighth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2026 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE BILL NO. 909 BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE AN ACT1 RELATING TO THE APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE; APPRO-2 PRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR3 FISCAL YEAR 2027; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE4 DATE.5
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:6
SECTION 1. In addition to any other appropriation provided by law,7 there is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Secretary of State for the8 Secretary of State Program the following amounts to be expended according to9 the designated expense classes from the General Fund for the period July 1,10 2026, through June 30, 2027:11 FOR:12 Personnel Costs13 $20,000 Operating Expenditures14 330,000 TOTAL15 $350,000
SECTION 2. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby16 declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after17 July 1, 2026.18
