RS33708 / H0907 This appropriation to the Division of Career Technical Education provides an enhancement to the FY 2027 maintenance budget for the Secondary and General Programs to partially restore the 2% rescission. It also provides a supplemental appropriation of $957,600 in FY 2026 for the Secondary and General Programs from the Career Ready Students Fund to restore the 1% rescission.

This appropriation provides $1,877,300 from the Career Ready Students Fund in addition to the maintenance appropriation provided to Division of Career Technical Education. Table 1 shows incremental adjustments to the budget which is a onetime increase of $1,877,300. Table 2 shows the supplemental appropriation in FY 2026, and all the adjustments leading to the FY 2027 Total. The total budget for the Division of Career Technical Education is $108,585,900. LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO Sixty-eighth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2026 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE BILL NO. 907 BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE AN ACT1 RELATING TO THE APPROPRIATION TO THE DIVISION OF CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION;2 APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE DIVISION OF CAREER TECHNICAL3 EDUCATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027; APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO4 THE DIVISION OF CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026; AND5 DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATES.6
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:7
SECTION 1. In addition to any other appropriation provided by law,8 there is hereby appropriated to the Division of Career Technical Education9 for the Secondary and General Programs program $1,877,300 from the Idaho10 Career Ready Students Program Fund to be expended for trustee and benefit11 payments for the period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.12
SECTION 2. In addition to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chap-13 ter 261, Laws of 2025, and any other appropriation provided by law, there is14 hereby appropriated to the Idaho Division of Career Technical Education for15 the Secondary and General Programs program $957,600 from the Idaho Career16 Ready Students Program Fund to be expended for trustee and benefit payments17 for the period July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.18
SECTION 3. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby19 declared to exist, Section 2 of this act shall be in full force and effect20 on and after passage and approval, and Section 1 of this act shall be in full21 force and effect on and after July 1, 2026.22
