Repeals existing law to remove obsolete provisions relating to securities lending agreements.

LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO Sixty-eighth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2026 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE BILL NO. 798 BY STATE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE AN ACT1 RELATING TO STATE TREASURER SECURITIES LENDING AGREEMENTS; PROVIDING LEG-2 ISLATIVE INTENT; REPEALING SECTION 67-1210B, IDAHO CODE, RELATING TO3 THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE TO INVEST; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PRO-4 VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.5

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:6

SECTION 1. IDAHO CODE CLEANUP -- LEGISLATIVE INTENT. It is the intent7 of the Legislature to ensure that the state laws provided in Idaho Code are8 streamlined, up-to-date, and essential for the citizens of Idaho, while best9 serving the public health, safety, and welfare. In accordance with the Idaho10 Code Cleanup Act, following comprehensive review, the Legislature has iden-11 tified the provisions of this act as obsolete, outdated, or unnecessary.12

SECTION 2. That Section 67-1210B, Idaho Code, be, and the same is hereby13 repealed.14

SECTION 3. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby15 declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after16 July 1, 2026.17
