Amends existing law to provide for reimbursement for parents or legal guardians for costs related to self-directed learner students.

This legislation does not carry a fiscal cost to the state, the school district, or the local taxpayers. Any reimbursable activities would be paid out of current state funding. The current law already states "The district or charter school will receive full funding for its self-directed learners, regardless of attendance or actual hours of instruction."
