Amends existing law to provide an exemption for relatives of members of the Legislature participating in the legislative page program.

This legislation would cause some legislative pages to receive compensation when they wouldn’t have in the past. This is estimated to be a little over $3,000 per individual with no more than a few individuals a year. The total annual impact to the general fund could be a deduction of $10,000.
