Amends and adds to existing law to provide for the sale of industrial hemp products.

The cost of a hemp retail license would be $600 annually to the store. For those businesses with multiple store locations, a single license can be issued to the owner of that business, with a $25 fee for each of the store locations. The fees will go to a dedicated fund within ISDA to cover the cost of processing the license application and carrying out inspections. ISDA can carry out the new responsibilities proposed in this legislation with the dedicated funds and existing personnel. The total number of stores selling hemp products in Idaho is currently unknown. This legislation causes no additional expenditure from the state general fund.
