Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding procuring services or personal property.
Under current Idaho law, when political subdivisions contemplate an expenditure to purchase or lease personal property or procure services, they must solicit no less than three bids or quotes if a purchase exceeds certain monetarythresholds. ThislegislationmaintainsallprotectionsforIdahotaxpayersinthepublicbiddingprocess and makes adjustments for inflation in the personal property procurement process.
