This is an FY 2022 additional appropriation bill for the Office of Drug Policy and includes $1,600,000 from the Federal COVID-19 Relief Fund. It includes federal funds made available through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplement Appropriations Act. This bill provides funding for primary prevention services as part of the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant awarded to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. The additional funding to the block grant requires 20% be set aside for prevention services, which is reflected in the $1,600,000 of this bill.
