Amends existing law to remove a provision regarding the Governor's ability to use a faxed signature on notary public appointments and commissions.
This legislation eliminates authorization for use of the Governor’s facsimile signature in the appointment and commissioning of notaries public, since these appointments and commissionings are now performed by the Secretary of State.
