Amends existing law to revise the definition of “deadly weapon” and to revise provisions regarding the carrying of concealed weapons.

This legislation corrects and clarifies some confusing and inconsistent aspects of Idaho Code Section 18-3302 dealing with concealed weapons. This legislation also changes the length of knife blade excluded from the definition of deadly weapon from four (4) inches to six (6) inches.

Amends existing law to revise certain exceptions regarding the carrying or possession of a concealed handgun.

Amends Idaho Code Section 18-3302(4) to lower the age limit for concealed carrying of a handgun within city limits to 18 years old and over.
