Amends existing law to provide that freedom from discrimination because of sexual orientation or gender identity is a civil right.

This legislation adds the words "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to the Idaho Human Rights Act, providesdefinitionsfortheseterms,andamendsthestatedpurposeoftheActconsistentwiththelegislation's other amendments.
