This legislation provides some incentives for agricultural landowners to voluntarily apply for Agricultural Protection Area designations and it further clarifies the intent of the statute that was passed by the Legislature in 2024 through House Bill 608aaS.

Amends Senate Bill 1133 to revise the Agricultural Protection Area Act.
This is a trailer bill to S 1133 (Agriculture Protection Area Bill). This bill aligns the process for adding parcels to an existing agriculture protection area with the process for establishing an agriculture protection area.
