Consistent with the Governor's Red Tape Reduction Act, this bill seeks to eliminate inactive provisions of law. In 2001, the Idaho Legislature authorized a land exchange between the Land Board, Idaho State University, the University of Idaho and the State Board of Education with the goal of transferring title of certain endowment landsthatcomprisedtheCenterforHigherEducationinIdahoFallstotheuniversities. Sincethislandexchange authorized by Idaho Code 58-156 was completed in 2002, this statute is no longer needed.

Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding board compensation.
Idaho Board of Scaling Practices members are compensated per I.C. 38-1205 in accordance with I.C. 59-509(g) and receive $35 per day for attending meetings, which includes PERSI eligibility. This legislation seeks to maintain a $35 per day honorarium for board members attending meetings but removes PERSI eligibility.

This bill clarifies that the sale of a new manufactured home by a manufacturer to a retail dealer with a resale certificate is not subject to sales tax. It also clarifies language related to the sales taxation of manufactured home component parts.
