Consistent with the Governor's Red Tape Reduction Act, this bill seeks to eliminate inactive provisions of law. In 2001, the Idaho Legislature authorized a land exchange between the Land Board, Idaho State University, the University of Idaho and the State Board of Education with the goal of transferring title of certain endowment landsthatcomprisedtheCenterforHigherEducationinIdahoFallstotheuniversities. Sincethislandexchange authorized by Idaho Code 58-156 was completed in 2002, this statute is no longer needed.
