Idaho's Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) has the second-most restrictive income eligibility requirements of any state. This bill revises eligibility for CHIP Plan B by increasing the upper level of a family's modified adjusted gross income to the national program average of 250% of federal poverty guidelines.

This bill relates to income taxes. It is the annual bill to update references to the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). The bill will conform the Idaho income tax to changes made to the IRC that affect taxable years beginning during 2015.

Amends existing law to provide that certain persons may petition for a compromise of the claim of a minor, to provide for the order of priority to make a petition, to authorize a court to pass over a person having priority under certain conditions, to provide requirements for a petition and to provide for approval of a compromise and payment.

This legislation removes the index on the Idaho homestead exemption, and places the exemption value at $100,000 or 50 percent of assessed value, whichever is less.
