This legislation limits regulation by local government on short term rentals in Idaho thereby providing increased lodging availability for tourists to Idaho and increased revenue for Idaho's tourist industry.
FISCAL NOTE

This legislation will have no negative impact on the state general fund, but will create additional tax revenues to the State of Idaho by deregulating short term rentals that will generate more tax revenues to the State of Idaho.
