This legislation exempts certain sensitive information from public records requests, similar to exemptions for law enforcement, to protect medicolegal death investigations. Exempted records could be released with consent of a parent or legal guardian.

There is no impact on the General Fund or local funds because it simply updates what information is exempt from public records.
