This legislation does not increase or decrease any state funds, and does not directly increase or decrease any city or county funds. If a CID is formed within a city or a county, there would an increase in the CID’s revenue equal to the amount of the assessment in the CID. This revenue would be used to pay the city, county, fire protection district, or emergency medical service district for fire protection or emergency medical services.
