All 105 seats in the Idaho Legislature are on the November 3, 2026 ballot. On the Secretary of State's final ballot list, 14 of them have a single candidate — 12 Republicans and 2 Democrats. Those candidates will win their seats with any number of votes.
In May, Tally Idaho counted 11 seats where only one party filed. Three more seats joined the list over the summer when their Democratic nominees withdrew, leaving the Republican candidate unopposed.

What it means for voters
An unopposed race still appears on the ballot, and write-in candidates can file to be counted. But for most voters in these districts, the deciding election for these seats was the May primary. See how each played out in the 2026 primary results, and every contested race in the general election guide.
