STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
This is an FY 2023 supplemental appropriation for the Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Psychiatric Hospitalization. It provides a net-zero fund shift from federal funds to the General Fund due to delays in achieving accreditation at State Hospital North and State Hospital West. It also provides a net-zero fund shift from federal funds to dedicated funds and the General Fund for State Hospital South, due to lack of revenue from federal sources.
